Yarn & Marble was born from a simple truth: that most meaningful things in life are handmade with intention, love and a touch of whimsy. What began as a spark of creativity has grown into a haven of keepsakes for thoughtful gifting.
We believe in the power of slow creation in a fast world. Each piece is a quiet rebellion against disposal and a celebration of enduring tokens of comfort and joy that are crafted to be worn or held close and cherished forever.

Our Story

The hands behind Yarn & Marble belong to a long aspiring artist - me, Jackie.

For as long as I can remember, I have held an affinity for the world of visual art, crafts and music. I dabbled in several forms of creativity during my childhood, from sketching to painting and music. Later on in my adult life, I experimented in some photography but I was still in search of some fireworks.

I began crocheting in August 2020 during a very long series of COVID-19 lockdowns in Melbourne and found myself evolving into a fibre artist.

That filled a big creative void and I finally saw the fireworks.

Fast forward to 2022: We welcomed onboard an experienced crochet queen, Penny. She is a seasoned crocheter with plenty of experience and passion for crafting. You will find plenty of her crocheted blankets and beanies within our online shop or market pop-ups. We are so thrilled to have her!
